Chairlifts and T-bar lifts

Ten modern chairlifts and T-bar lifts take winter sports fans from 1,600 metres up to 2,222 metres above sea level.
Wonderfully wide, sunny slopes and 10 km of challenging ski routes offer a perfect skiing experience.
On Lachtal you can enjoy traditional flair with ski chalet charm, in a mountain world favoured by Mother Nature.

Getting up high

The Zinken lift mountain station is located at 2,222 metres above sea level, making it the highest lift station in Styria.

Legendary snowboarding

The board glides swiftly over the snow, the wind rushes towards you and your adrenaline level goes crazy. The ground gives way under your feet and you take off, a tingling sensation runs through your body – that’s freedom. Sail through the air for a moment and enjoy the feeling. That’s snowboarding on Lachtal! For freeriding fans, there is a wonderfully wide area for freeriding and lots of natural jumps.

Lachtal is a World Championships venue!

As part of the FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships 2015, two attractive competitions were held on Lachtal.
The world’s best snowboarders competed for the coveted world championship titles in the parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom.
